Tata Cancer Treatment

More than 2 years ago, we identified the need for specialised healthcare in Thane. More specifically, cancer treatment. After tremendous hard work and persistent effort, we are proud to announce that we were able to bring together like-minded people from the medical fraternity, reputed government offices, visionary businessmen and charitable trusts to bring this vision to life

In a move to bolster cancer research and treatment in India, the Tata Cancer Team, on 19th May signed the final MoU with JITO team: Ajay Ashar (CMD, Ashar Group; Chief Managing Trustee, JITO Educational and Medical Trust), Deepak Bheda and Mahendra Jain.

“Our vision is to make a state-of-art complex with a 750-bed hospital, temple and residential quarters for patients from across the country. We are working on the plans right now and look forward to bringing this vision to life. Our only endeavour is to add value to society and the blessings we receive in the process will be our biggest reward,” said Mr. Ajay Ashar.

Together, forward in the fight against COVID-19

Our hospital - Shree Mahavir Jain Hospital and Pratap J Ashar Cardiac Centre - has set up a COVID-19 vaccination centre where we have successfully conducted the 1st round of vaccination for 600+ people in 3 days, in the presence of the Mayor of Thane and Corporators.
 
The initiative is a joint effort with Thane Municipal Corporation and is free of cost.

Free Surgical Camp

As Chief Managing Trustee of JITO Education and Medical Trust, Mr Ajay Ashar has taken it as a personal responsibility to give back to society. Recently, JITO hospital conducted a Free Surgical Camp where key surgeries such as Coronary Angiography surgery, Congenital Ear Deformities surgery & Knee Replacement surgery was conducted by a team of specialist doctors & surgeons.

Blood Donation Camp

On August 14, 2018, the heart of Ashar IT Park pulsed with compassion as approximately 3,000 dedicated individuals participated in a life-affirming event — the Blood Donation Camp organized by Ashar Group. This benevolent initiative showcased the generous spirit of our community, as these selfless donors generously contributed their life force to save countless others in need. The Ashar Group, committed to fostering a culture of care and responsibility, facilitated this impactful event at the Ashar IT Park premises. The remarkable turnout reflects the unity and empathy within the corporate family and underscores the collective commitment to making a positive impact beyond business realms.

Tata Cancer Hospital – Bhoomi Poojan Event

The Tata Cancer Hospital in Thane, a collaborative effort of Thane Corporation, Tata Memorial Centre, and Jain International Trade Organization, celebrated a Bhoomi Poojan event attended by esteemed guests including CM Eknath Shinde. The state-of-the-art cancer facility aims to be operational in two years, offering 600 beds and comprehensive services, including affordable proton beam therapy. It addresses the region's healthcare needs, reducing the need for patients to travel to Mumbai. The hospital signifies resilience, community support, and a commitment to a healthier future in the fight against cancer.

Covid Test

With a motive to flatten the COVID-19 curve, 15,000 individuals working at Ashar IT Park took the COVID-19 Test at the camp set up by Ashar Group at Ashar IT Park on 29th September 2020.

    Over the past 18 years, Mr Ashar has transformed the Ashar Group into a brand synonymous with trust, quality and on-time delivery across various real estate verticals such ad Residential and Commercial Construction, Education, Retail, IT parks and Infrastructure developments.

    Mr Ajay Ashar has been instrumental to growth and development in Thane by launching the biggest IT park, and first international school (Billabong High), thereby generating employment and education for over 12,000 adults and 10,000 students, respectively. Further, he has been pivotal in leading and implementing Thane’s infrastructure and development projects through the “Evolving Thane” concept.

In the pipeline are two more exciting projects: an international school and TATA Cancer Hospital.
